Scope
What we do
Clarify the best route into France: subsidiary, branch, joint venture or acquisition
Introduce French lawyers, accountants and company-formation specialists
Open doors to banks, premises, staff and local suppliers
Present you to the regional institutions and networks that support new arrivals
Prepare you for French business culture, negotiation and timelines
Who it is for
Established companies and family businesses in the Gulf and Asia that want a European base. Entrepreneurs and professionals, including real estate and service firms, planning to expand into France or through France into Europe. Executives relocating with their families.
How we help
We start by understanding why France and what success looks like. Then we map the steps, introduce the specialists for each one and stay close to the process, so that nothing stalls between one adviser and the next.
Legal structuring, tax advice and regulatory filings are carried out by licensed French professionals.
In practice
Situations we help with
A family business opening a European subsidiary
Choosing between a subsidiary and a branch, assembling the right advisers in Bordeaux, and meeting the first clients and suppliers.
A manufacturer looking for a route into the EU
Using a French base to serve European customers, with introductions to distributors, logistics partners and regional support agencies.
A professional relocating with a business
Setting up the company, the banking relationship and the local network while the family settles in.
Questions
Questions we often hear
Do we need to be in France to set up?
Not for every step. Much of the work can be handled with local advisers, but some steps, such as opening a bank account, usually involve identity checks and sometimes a visit. We help you plan the trips that matter.
How long does it take?
It depends on the structure, the sector and the bank. We map a realistic timeline with your advisers at the start, so you know what comes when.
Can a French company serve the rest of Europe?
Yes. A company established in France can trade across the European single market. Your advisers will tell you which VAT and registration rules apply in each country.
Why Bordeaux rather than Paris?
Lower costs, high-speed rail to Paris, an international airport, and a business community where the right introduction still opens the right door. For many companies it is a better first base.
