How we help

We have lived and worked in the UAE since 2006 and operated through several free zones. We know which questions to ask before you choose a licence, a property or an adviser, and we stay involved until you are operating.

IBC does not provide legal, tax, licensing or investment advice. Requirements in the UAE change, so every step is confirmed with licensed advisers.

Questions

Questions we often hear

Can a French company own 100% of a UAE company?

Yes, in free zones, and on the mainland for most commercial and industrial activities. The right structure depends on where your customers are.

How is a UAE company taxed?

The UAE applies a federal corporate tax of 9% on profits above AED 375,000, with possible 0% treatment for qualifying free zone income, and has no personal income tax. France and the UAE have a tax treaty; how it applies to you is a question for your tax advisers.

Does investing give residence rights?

The UAE offers long-term residence visas, including for property investors and business owners who meet the criteria. Our partners confirm current eligibility before you commit.

Who are your partners in the UAE?

e.zones for company set-up and licensing, Account.Ability for accounting and compliance, and Alsafa Manzil (Serenity Homes) for property. See Dubai and free zones.
