Investment facilitation
Connect capital with French assets.
IBC introduces international investors to French estates, businesses and real estate, and French owners to patient capital.
Scope
What we do
Identify and qualify opportunities: vineyard estates, agri-food companies, real estate and strategic participations
Make discreet, relationship-based introductions between owners and investors
Bring in specialists to support due diligence
Explore structures that suit both sides, including minority stakes and joint ventures, and Sharia-compliant structures with specialist advisers where required
Accompany the transaction through to closing
Who it is for
Investors, family offices and business principals from the Gulf and Asia. On the French side, owners of estates and family businesses who are open to a partner or an investor who respects what they have built.
How we help
The best opportunities are rarely advertised. We work through personal relationships, so introductions are made privately and only when both sides have been qualified.
IBC does not give investment advice or arrange regulated financial products.
In practice
Situations we help with
A family office looking at a Bordeaux estate
Understanding the market, meeting owners in confidence and assembling the advisers for due diligence before any offer is made.
A French owner planning for succession
Finding a partner or investor who respects what the family has built, with the discretion the situation requires.
A minority stake alongside a family
An investment where the family stays in charge and the investor brings capital, markets or both.
Questions
Questions we often hear
Can international investors buy a French estate?
In general, yes. Some transactions need extra steps: agricultural land sales can be subject to pre-emption by the regional land agency (SAFER), and some sectors fall under foreign-investment screening. Your lawyers will confirm what applies.
Do you only work with vineyards?
No. Wine estates are a strong part of the region, but we also look at agri-food businesses, real estate and strategic participations in other sectors.
Are opportunities advertised?
Rarely. The best ones come through relationships, which is why we introduce both sides privately and only once each has been qualified.
Can the structure follow Islamic finance principles?
Where required, yes. We work with specialist advisers on Sharia-compliant structures that also work for the French side.
