Yes. There is no general restriction on foreign buyers of residential property. Agricultural land can involve additional steps, which your notary will explain.
What does a notary do?
In France, the notary (notaire) is a public official who prepares the deed, checks the title, collects the transfer taxes and registers the sale.
Do you sell property yourselves?
No. IBC is not an estate agency. We introduce you to licensed agents and professionals, and we stay involved so the process stays on track.
